Arctic Circle

Crossing the Arctic Circle. A line. A border. A number written on the road. Carved in stone.  66°34′N 23°51′E. Or even more? Doorstep to the arctic. A hidding place? A hidden place? Everyday life for commuters? About two million people live north of the Arctic Circle. Today indigenous peoples make up 10% of the region's population. Some areas have been settled for thousands of years. Where is the border? What makes it so magical? Nature? Stories off the beaten path? Our inner pictures? Where is our limit?
